Why is the juice so special?

By using the Norwalk juicer all the produce is grinded up and placed in a pouch, then hydraulically pressed between 2 stainless steel plates. The tremendous pressure exerted gently extracts vitamins, trace minerals, enzymes, and other vital elements. This produces an extremely fine quality and crisp flavour unequalled by many juicers on the market. Because there’s no pulp, your body is able to easily assimilate the nutrients without the chore of digestion. Cold-pressed juicing is known not to oxidize and doesn't heat the juice, giving you the most delicious and beneficial raw, live juice and beautifully bottled in glass jars - so we don’t have to worry about chemicals leaking from plastic bottles. It's a slow process, but the quality makes it worth the wait. They are made in small batches, taste tested, so you can be sure you’re getting the best.
The organic produce is delivered straight from Organic Delight's farm based in Wicklow. Understanding the importance of being eco-friendly, all the pulp is composted - so very little waste! The juices are delivered in reusable sealed glass jars for maximum nutrient retention with a 2 day shelf life - remember it's alive!

my story

A raw food and juice enthusiast with first hand experience on the benefits of drinking raw organic green juice. It was after 16 years working in the TV industry both in Dublin and London before my true passion took over - nutrition. I believe raw juice is one of the best things you can do for the body, beauty and mind, giving a boost of energy and nutrient-rich hydration we all need to look and feel our best with little effort.


In 2012 I founded Pressed Out Juices so that I could have delicious raw, unpasteurised organic juices available to me at all times. I love making the juice, and sharing those feelings of good health and well being with my family and friends and now you. On completing David Wolfe's Raw Nutrition Certification and The BodyMind Level 1 Nutrition Certification I gained a huge insight on natural foods we really should be including in our daily life. I’m constantly continuing my education to pursue cutting edge health education.





Q: Are your juices vegan and gluten-free?
Yes. The 3 recipes are suitable for vegans and are gluten-free.

Q: How long does the juice last?
With proper refrigeration, the juice stays fresh for 2 days from the time you receive your delivery. Once the jar is opened it's recommended to drink it within an hour for best results. We choose not to use High Pressure Pasteurisation (HPP) because we want the very best as Mother Nature intended.

Q: Where should I store my juice?
Always store your juice in the refrigerator from the moment it arrives. The cold-pressed juice is unpasteurised, making it highly perishable if not stored properly.

Q: Isn't the juice I make at home the same as Pressed Out Juices?
Juice made at home on a rotary or centrifugal juicer speeds up oxidation due to the heat generated in the extraction process, therefore the juice must be consumed immediately. Pressed Out Juices uses the Norwalk juicer. These machines are able to extract much higher concentrations of vitamins and minerals. 2000lbs of pressure extract all the nourishing elements from the ingredients, rupturing the cell walls and liberating an abundance of nutrients, amino acids, vitamins, minerals, enzymes and chlorophyll. The cold-pressed method of extraction produces a much more nutritious juice that is able to stay fresh and vital for a couple of days with proper storage - and tastes better too!

Q: How fresh is your juice?
I press the juice each day before delivering it to you using only fresh produce from Organic Delights farm based in Wicklow, so they are bursting with the active nutrients such as enzymes, vitamins, minerals and oxygen. We don’t like harmful chemicals, pesticides, hormones and antibiotics.

Q: Should I chew my juice?
Strange but yes, "chewing" the juice triggers the secretion of saliva and enzymes which aid in the assimilation of nutrients into your body.

Q: My juice looks seperated, is it bad?
No. This occurs naturally, because I don't add binders or any other ingredients. Just give your juice a gentle shake and enjoy.

Q: Why do you use glass jars and not plastic?
Glass jars are a way to ensure the quality of the juice. Plastic bottles are known for their negative effects on health, e.g. leaching of chemicals. Also I like to be eco-friendly.
